NOW HIRING AT THE STORY INN

The Story Inn is now hiring the following positions, open immediately:

Day/Evening Server: This historically well-compensated position is open to motivated, intelligent, articulate persons who do not blanch at working on weekends and holidays.  Full or part-time.  Applicants must have a valid liquor serving permit, good references, and a working knowledge of fine wine.  NON SMOKERS ONLY!    

Gardener (seasonal employment): We are seeking an individual who has a love of herbs and flowers and a keen sense of beauty and landscape design. Forty hours/week time commitment, weekdays only, with flexible hours, through Thanksgiving.  Non-smoking a plus.  Must be willing to multi-task and to get your hands dirty.  Pay negotiable.   

Front Desk Manager:  Seeking a reliable, pleasant, articulate person to greet and seat customers, check overnight guests in and out, direct phone calls, take reservations, return e-mails, do light clerical duties, and generally be the "face" of the Story Inn.  Hours available days and evenings.  Pay starts at $8/hour, with potential increase after 30 days.  Non-smoker only. 

Line Cook (seasonal, may morph into permanent employment): Seeking an honest, personable, and reliable individual with a good work ethic who can work the line in the kitchen during the breakfast and lunch shifts.  Non-smoker preferred.  Pay negotiable.  Prior cooking experience a must.

Dishwasher:  Flexible hours, morning or evening shifts.  Must have reliable transportation.  Minimum wage. 

Grill Assistant: Saturdays and Sundays only, through October.  Pay starts at $8/hour.
